This year, the Weiser Center for Real Estate sent 24 outstanding students to New York City for the 2026 NYC Real Estate Academy, an immersive trek designed to bring the real estate industry to life beyond the classroom. Over three action-packed days, students gained firsthand exposure to some of the most influential firms and projects shaping the future of commercial and residential real estate.
Over three days in New York City, students explored the full breadth of the real estate industry, from Vornado Realty Trust’s ambitious Penn District redevelopment to Hudson Bay Capital’s global investment strategies and DRA Advisors’ work across diverse asset classes. They also toured Related Companies’ Hudson Yards projects, connected with alumni and industry leaders, and gained a deeper understanding of development, investment, and community-building.
